Halloween at Royal Hawaiian Center

Royal Hawaiian Center’s Halloween program featured a full-scale seasonal activation including a center-wide trick-or-treat experience with participating merchants, a signature Keiki Halloween Costume Contest at The Royal Grove (2:00 PM–5:15 PM) showcasing Waikīkī’s largest youth costume competition with multiple age categories, an ‘ohana division, and a Grand Overall Prize for top costume winners. This year, 171 people registered, including 16 family entries. The Grand Prize Winner, “Life in the Chicken Coop” (Horizon) impressed the judges with a creative costume inspired by her family’s experience raising chicks. She received a $250 Royal Hawaiian Center gift card, two Alaska Airlines vouchers, and special gifts from RHC merchants. The travel vouchers were kindly gifted by Alaska Airlines. This activation was further supported by our Halloween Gift with Purchase promotion from October 15–31, where guests who spent $50 or more at food merchants received a complimentary Halloween bag, collectively creating a multi-touchpoint experience spanning retail, dining, and live event engagement.
